Take a stroll through Birštonas City Park and visit the mineral water evaporation tower "Druskupis". The idea for this tower came to Lithuania from Germany. This is the only place in Lithuania where you may breathe "sea air" in the open air during the warm season. The structure, formed of fruit tree branches, is illuminated in the evenings, making it difficult to find a better place for relaxation. The tower and the fountain are filled with natural mineral water from the “Rūta” spring. Water evaporates only when it is exposed to natural elements such as sunlight and wind. The effect can be felt from 50 to 80 metres away from the tower.
